SKATER XL LAUNCHES INDUSTRIAL ZONE MAP WITH MOVEABLE OBJECTS JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS


Easy Day Studios launched a new update today for Skater XL just in time for the holidays - Industrial Zone by Jean-Olive. This gritty map is full of shipping bays, loading docks and heavy-duty equipment creating new opportunities to develop challenging lines and tricks. This update also introduces a breakthrough feature that gives players the ability to customize the map by moving select elements like forklifts, barriers and construction materials. The Industrial Zone map drop includes both a day and night version with dramatic lighting effects that create a compelling backdrop to film highlight worthy video parts with the game’s replay editor.

To celebrate the launch of the Industrial Zone map, Skater XL will be on sale on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam for a limited time during the holidays.

Industrial Zone was designed and created by Jean-Olive, who also created the ‘Streets’ map, that was included in Skater XL’s 2020 launch. Jean’s rendition of a gritty manufacturing zone has been optimized for performance and visual quality by the team at Easy Day Studios. The addition of interactive and moveable objects was a natural inclusion and offers a preview of the ‘DIY Map Editor’ coming soon to Skater XL.
